Overview

Prime is seeking an Impact Accountability Senior Advisor to play a critical role in shaping the methodological guidance and case studies to support the adoption and practice of Project Frame’s Pre-investment Methodology within our growing investor community. The incumbent consultant will be responsible for providing recommendations to improve the application and adoption of forward-looking emissions assessment methodology, develop case studies to demonstrate the methodology in practice, and work closely with Project Frame investors to draft future methodology iterations. The advisor will also be responsible for leading research to bridge the gap between applying the methodology for venture capital to larger asset managers, as well as provide feedback to further improve software capabilities for forward-looking emissions assessments.

Deliverables

  • Seek expertise to develop Frame Content Working Group
  • Co-develop methodology work plan in close collaboration with the Director of Impact Accountability and Project Frame’s Steering Committe
  • Co-develop data and tools working group and provide expert feedback to ensure product improvements for CRANE as well as other forward-looking emissions assessment tools
  • Lead the development of at least 7 industry-specific case studies demonstrating Project Frame’s methodology in practice
  • Provide emissions reduction potential expertise as needed to ensure product excellence
  • As necessary, work in close collaboration with the Frame team to steward working group and deliverables

Required Qualifications

  • Exposure to emissions reduction potential assessment
  • STEM background
  • Basic understanding of LCA evaluation
  • Experience with finance industry and Venture Capital/Private Equity
  • Research experience and understanding of industry versus academic research and data analysis
  • Experience analyzing data applicable to supporting impact measurement for startups
  • Understanding of financial modeling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in energy, manufacturing, industrial, electrical, steel, cement, and transportation would be beneficial
  • Proven expertise in long-form writing
  • Ability to communicate with different audiences with varying degrees of technical understanding
  • Project management acumen
  • Ability to work independently
